A diagnostic scanner tool is an electronic device that connects to your vehicle’s OBD2 port to read and clear fault codes, monitor real-time data, and run system tests. It helps mechanics and car owners identify engine or electrical issues quickly and efficiently.

Our diagnostic scanner tools are capable of diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems, including the engine (OBD‑II/CEL), transmission, ABS, SRS/airbag, TPMS (tire pressure monitoring), battery and alternator health, and oil/service resets. Advanced models—such as Launch X431 series and Autel MaxiCOM—also support ECU programming, live data streaming, and bi‑directional testing. Most of our diagnostic scanner tools can be updated via USB, Wi‑Fi, or Bluetooth. Updates are performed using official desktop or mobile apps (e.g., Launch X‑431 App, Autel MaxiLink App, Topdon App). Updates often include new vehicle coverage, UI improvements, and expanded repair database. We recommend performing your first update before use to ensure optimal diagnostic performance.
