Key Blades

Car key blades

The mechanical blade that fits into a flip key or remote shell. Replacing just the blade is the cheaper repair when a key has snapped or worn but the electronics and shell are still sound, and it lets a locksmith build a finished key from a universal remote and the correct blade profile.

Blades are specified by profile code, such as HU87 for Suzuki, so match the code to the vehicle rather than the model name. Blades are supplied uncut and need cutting to the lock.
