Engine timing tools

Timing tool kits lock the crankshaft and camshafts in their correct relative positions while a belt or chain is removed and replaced. Without them, setting timing by mark alignment alone leaves room for a tooth of error, which on an interference engine means bent valves.

Kits are engine-family specific, so check that the set covers the exact engine code you are working on before ordering. Includes manufacturer-specific timing sets from FairTools.
